About

Empowering young people with the tools they need to thrive emotionally, academically, and socially.

Hayley Owens, Founder & CEO of Divinity Reflections

Our Mission

Divinity Reflections was born from a simple but powerful truth: every young person deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported. In schools across the country, counselors are stretched impossibly thin — often responsible for 400 or more students each. That means millions of young people are navigating some of the hardest years of their lives without anyone to really talk to. We're here to change that.

We created Bestie — a personal digital wellness companion — to be there for students when a counselor, teacher, or parent can't be. Bestie meets students where they are: late at night when anxiety won't let them sleep, between classes when something hurtful was said, or after school when they just need someone to listen. It's like having a wise, caring friend available 24 hours a day.

Bestie doesn't replace the people who love and support our students. It extends their reach. It gives young people a private, safe space to sort through their feelings, build self-awareness, practice handling tough situations, and grow into the confident, resilient young people they were meant to be.

Our Founder

Divinity Reflections was founded by Hayley Owens, a dedicated educator and passionate advocate for student mental health based in California. As a teacher, Hayley has spent years inside the classroom, working closely with young people from all walks of life. She has seen firsthand the gap between what students need and what's available to them — watching too many kids struggle in silence with anxiety, self-doubt, social pressure, and academic stress, often without the tools or support to manage it.

Her experience in the classroom is what makes Divinity Reflections so personal and so necessary. Hayley didn't just read about these challenges — she lived them alongside her students. That's why her vision is so clear: every student — regardless of their background, their school's budget, or where they live — should have access to emotional wellness support. Under her leadership, Divinity Reflections has grown from an idea born in the classroom into a living, breathing platform that students are already using to feel better, do better in school, and believe in themselves more.

What We Offer

Meet Bestie — Your Wellness Companion

A caring, personal companion that listens, supports, and guides students through their thoughts and feelings. Bestie remembers your conversations and grows with you, offering thoughtful responses that help you understand yourself better.

Guided Reflection

Gentle, structured exercises that help students look inward and process what they're going through. Think of it as a personal journal that talks back — asking the right questions at the right time to help you grow.

Focus Tools

Calming soundscapes and audio environments designed to help students concentrate, reduce test anxiety, and create the right mood for studying — whether it's deep focus, creative thinking, or winding down before bed.

Progress Tracking

Simple visual tools that help students see their emotional growth over time. Recognizing patterns — like feeling stressed before exams or energized after certain activities — gives students the power to make better choices.

Practice Scenarios

Interactive experiences where students can practice responding to real-life situations — like dealing with peer pressure, speaking up in class, or resolving a conflict with a friend — in a safe, supportive space.

Our Values

Everything we do is guided by what matters most: student safety first (every feature exists to support young people's wellbeing), honesty and openness (families always know how Divinity Reflections works and how their information is handled), cultural relevance (we honor and respect the diverse backgrounds and experiences of every student who uses Bestie), and real results (our approaches are grounded in proven methods and continuously shaped by feedback from students, educators, and families).
